2024年1月29日、Typescript 5.4 Betaが利用可能になったと発表がありましたので、共有しておきます。

Typescript 5.4 Betaの気になるポイントとして、Typescript 5.4 Betaでリリースされる新機能をご紹介しようと思ったのですが、

TypeScript5.0で非推奨となったオプションと動作が意外と多く、気になってしまいましたので、以下ご紹介だけしておきます。

少しだけご紹介しておきますと、

ignoreDeprecationsがTypeScriptで使用可能なバージョンがTypeScrip5.4まで利用可能で、2024年6月リリース予定？のTypeScrip5.5からはハードエラーとなること。これは、ignoreDeprecationsを使用しているコードはすべて移行する必要があるということを意味しています。

その他にも、”より厳密になった条件付き型誓約や型変数”や”プリミティブの交差の削減”などなど

多くの非推奨が公開されていますので、今から新しくTypeScripでコードを書く場合は、今回公開されている非推奨となったオプションと動作について、確認を行った上で書き始めておくことが手戻りも少なく、動作的にも安全かと思いますので要チェックしておきましょう！
